The Scientifically Proven Best Time to Think and Write Creatively
Do you know when the best time to write is? Before going to bed or just after waking up from a good night’s sleep. Is it morning, afternoon, evening or midnight?
We would be very curious to know. It is very important information, the time our creative juices flow in a stream of consciousness.
Just like you and me, Neil Patel too was curious, so he decided to do a little bit of research. The answer was shocking to him. When I read his Blog it shocked me too. I though this bit of research may interest you too. :
Neil Patel is the co-founder of Crazy Egg, Hello Bar, and KISSmetrics. He helps companies like Amazon, NBC, GM, HP and Viacom grow their revenue. He was recognized as a top 100 entrepreneur under the age of 30 by President Obama and one of the top 100 entrepreneurs under the age of 35 by the United Nations.
Here’s what he learnt…
Neil tends to do his best writing in the morning and have been doing so for years. By being consistent
with his writing schedule, He has trained his brain to be prepared to write during that time.
Funnily enough, He generates most of his ideas in the morning. He think it’s because he tends to run
in the morning, which helps his body produce more dopamine and creates an optimal time for his brain
to get distracted and come up with creative ideas.
So, are you going to change when you write based on the data in the info graphic?
